  • Plaid: To connect your financial accounts, we use Plaid to collect and transmit your financial account information to us in accordance with Plaid's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
  • Method Financial: We use Method Financial to gather liability and bill data from your financial institutions.
  • Creditors and Debt Collectors: As part of the debt negotiation process, we receive information from your creditors and debt collectors regarding your accounts, balances, and payment history.

Consumer Reporting Agencies: We receive information about you from credit bureaus and other consumer reporting agencies as necessary to verify your identity and provide our Services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To Provide and Maintain Our Services: We use your information to operate the Relief app, manage your account, verify your identity, and provide the interactive debt reduction platform. This includes generating settlement proposals and facilitating your authorization of offers.
  • To Communicate with Creditors: By using the Services, you expressly authorize Relief to act as your representative and use your information to communicate and negotiate with creditors and debt collectors on your behalf to reduce your debt. This may include sharing your non-public personal information, such as credit history and account information, with your creditors.
  • For Communication: We use your information to contact you for customer support, send you updates about your debt reduction plan, and provide other service-related communications.
  • For Analytics and Service Improvement: We use your information to analyze usage trends, improve the functionality of the Relief app, and develop new features and services.
