Creditor Communications

Communication with Creditors Regarding Your Accounts: Relief works with your creditors to assist you in reducing your debt. By using these services you acknowledge and agree to allow Relief to share your nonpublic personal information, including but not limited to, your account information, credit history, payment history, and payment plan with your creditor(s). Furthermore, you permit Relief to speak to your creditors regarding your account.

To all extents that you are permitted, you authorize and instruct Relief Technologies, Inc (hereinafter referred to as “Relief”) or its agents, affiliates, or attorneys, to:

Communicate with banks, creditors, financial institutions, licensed collection agencies, and all other related entities, individuals relating to your debts and the specific obligations that Relief has undertaken;

Obtain records, debt validations and support for the debts allegedly owed on your behalf; and

Communicate, negotiate, and attempt to settle debts with your permissions.  You assert that all of the information that you have provided and will provide to Relief  is accurate, timely and correct.  Relief may discuss any and all relevant details of my financial situation with any third party or creditor. You understand and agree that Relief is not authorized to provide, nor will you request or accept, any legal or tax advice relating to your personal financial situation.  All communications between your creditors, the parties listed above and Relief are with your express permission and instruction.  You understand that Relief is not a law firm and is not licensed to practice law or provide legal advice, and you expressly agree to waive and forgo any claim against Relief relating to the practice of law.

Relief will not make settlement decisions for you, and will only accept settlement offers that you have expressly approved Relief is authorized to communicate on your behalf only in regards to the attempted settlement negotiations.  You further understand that any legal actions by creditors or collection agencies are your responsibility, are unrelated to your enrollment in Relief, and would have occurred regardless of your enrollment in the Relief because you are in default and unable to pay your creditor obligations.
